"Continuing my education is important to me because it has always been a source of growth and purpose, giving me the tools to create intentional, positive change in the world. My love for education began with my late great-grandmother, Mattie Lee Davis (Meme), and my mother, who continuously encouraged learning, resilience, and faith. They taught me that education is not just about academics, but about becoming someone who uplifts others and contributes in a meaningful way.
Today, I work within the California State University Office of the Chancellor supporting systemwide initiatives focused on student affairs that ultimately help students thrive both inside and outside of the classroom. Being part of work that impacts students across all 22 CSU campuses has deepened my understanding of how transformative education can be.
I also want to inspire others to believe in their own potential and ability. That purpose extends into my business and creative projects through Dreamy Vegan and my educational whimsical characters, Dream Rocket and CocoBuddy. Dream Rocket was inspired by my childhood, imagination, health challenges, and resilience growing up. Alongside CocoBuddy, the goal is to create empowering stories, wellness-centered education, and joyful experiences that encourage children to embrace who they are, dream fearlessly, and live healthier lives. I want young people, especially young girls, to see that their uniqueness can become their superpower.
Education, creativity, and community all work together in the life I hope to build and the impact I hope to leave behind."

“One of the biggest things affecting young women today is the loss of self due to constant comparison, unrealistic expectations, social media pressures, and disconnection from their inner identity and purpose. Many young women are being taught to seek validation externally instead of developing a strong relationship with themselves spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.
With social media, many feel pressured to constantly perform, appear perfect, or tie their worth to attention, appearance, money, or status. Over time, this can create anxiety, insecurity, burnout, loneliness, and confusion about who they truly are.
I believe we can begin turning this around by creating more spaces rooted in authenticity, mentorship, creativity, emotional wellness, faith, and community. Young women need reminders that they are valuable beyond what the world profits from them being.
I try to help through the work I’m building with Dreamy Vegan, Dream Rocket, and CocoBuddy by promoting imagination, joy, healthier living, confidence, resilience, and self-acceptance. I also try to lead by example through kindness, vulnerability, encouragement, and simply being a listening ear when someone needs support. Sometimes helping someone rediscover their light starts with making them feel heard, loved, and capable again.”
