Alisha Hall: President

A Chicago, IL native, Alisha Hall followed her passion for music to Columbia College Chicago where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Entertainment Management with a concentration in the Music Business. After college, she spent the next ten years in Los Angeles at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) administering royalties and supporting the careers of composers, songwriters and publishers.

Alisha is currently a Real Estate Agent for Keller Williams Silicon Beach in Marina Del Rey, CA.

The seeds for Golden Women Foundation were planted during a casual get together with Mrs. Hall and friends. Eight hours and many topics later, she knew this gathering had grown into something more than just a "conversation with the girls." The idea of establishing a network of women of worth and value had taken root.

As president, Mrs. Hall focuses on GWF full-time by creating opportunities and encouraging women to become the best they can, not only for themselves but also for others around them.

Mrs. Hall strives every day to lead by example and live a Golden life.

Ja-Nia Sanon: Vice President

Mrs. Sanon believes that all women should be able to find the help they need to become Golden Women and hopes to be able to aid in the growth of women across the country and around the world. In pursuit of that goal, she currently works with infants as a Child and Youth Assistant.

Born in Chicago, IL, as the youngest of five children, Mrs. Sanon embodies the spirit of Golden Women. Throughout her college years, she maintained a full-time job as a bank teller while pursuing her educational goals. A love of food and the culinary arts led to an Associate’s of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts from Kendall College in Chicago and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry from Northeastern Illinois University.

Mrs. Sanon lives with her husband, a United States Airman, near Las Vegas, Nevada.

LaJuana Stanton: Treasurer

As a Consumer Lending Underwriter for various banks, Mrs. Stanton knows the value of financial education. She focuses on educating and empowering young women on the important aspects of financial management such as preparing a household budget, balancing a checking account, spending money wisely, etc.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, and the oldest of five children, Mrs. Stanton went back to school while juggling marriage, raising two children and a full-time job. She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting degree and Master’s of Science Degree in Forensic Accounting from Roosevelt University.

Christina Fischer: Board of Director

As a fitness and lifestyle coach, Ms. Fischer has always had a passion for empowering women to be their best selves. She has over 15 years experience in strength training, dance training, athletics, and injury prevention, and focuses on internal awareness and helping her clients (many of whom are women) build the self-esteem, confidence, and toolbox to confidently approach exercise on their own for life. Born and raised in Chicago IL, she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Business-Finance with Honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is certified with NASM and NPTI and holds a Corrective Exercise specialization.

Mollye Peters: Board of Director

Ms. Peters has built a career as a Freelance Marketing Specialist, developing and executing marketing strategy across various organizations and industries for 8+years. She attended Butler University and received Bachelor's degrees in Marketing, International Business, and French. After freelancing for several years, she went back to school in 2014 to follow her dreams and obtain her Master's in Sports Administration - Sports Marketing & PR from Northwestern University. As someone who fiercely believes in following one's passions, Ms. Peters thinks all women deserve to do what they love and be embraced by a strong support system. She believes women should be champions for other women, especially when there are still many male-dominated industries to breakthrough.

Ms. Peters was born, raised, and currently lives in Chicago, IL. She moved back to Chicago after college to help her family as her dad was diagnosed with a progressive lung disease. After spending 2018 being her dad's primary caregiver at the end of his life, Ms. Peters is fighting back to pursue her dreams including having a sports marketing career, developing resources to help women and businesses, working on entrepreneurial projects, and continuing to help her family. Everyone goes through challenges in life. Ms. Peters believes every woman should embrace those challenges and still strive to achieve their goals. She hopes to help others who have been through similar experiences move forward in life and know they are not alone.
